I picked up and decided to start Jake Browning, Cin-QB, instead of my bench C.J. Stroud, Hou-QB.  My normal starting, Was-QB, Jaden Daniels is out.  I will check late Sunday or Monday to see if I made the right decision.

Ann and I went to the LITH Theater to watch Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale.  I didn’t watch the series but I have now seen both movies.  While I did have a nice sleep through some of it, this second one was better than the first.

I read directions for the powdered grub killer and I don’t want to deal with those very bad warnings about getting it on your skin and in your eyes.  I contacted TruGreen and they will now be taking care of the grubs (I pulled up a large section of a dead patch and literally saw one of the grubs) and fertilizing.  They are coming within the next 5 days to get started.  We’ll see how it goes.

The 24th anniversary of that unbelievable day. The weather today was much like that day, sunny and pleasant. I was in my office at Motorola when Ann called—my first thought was a Cessna with an issue—that was quickly replaced.

Charlie Kirk was shot today. Technically, I found out on September 11th when Ann told me. I really don’t know what this means except that it is not good.

I did 100 push-ups (inclined), 100 sit-ups, 100 squats (no weight), and 100 shoulder presses (light weight). 

Normally, I only bike or hike but I want to expand.  I am starting slow and broke it up with 10 sets of 10.  I set a timer on my phone for the top of every hour.  It was easy to do but very surprising how the time can fly—if I would not have set the alarm, I would have missed a lot of “top of the hours.”  I hope to keep this going!
